We are going to be in Disney from 11/28-12/3. We are not going to the parks on Sunday or Friday. We are planning on doing breakfast Chef Mickey's. I have our reservation set for Tuesday but was thinking to switching it to Friday, any suggestions?

You're really not giving us enough info to help you.
Please tell us where you will be staying and some of your plans. This way someone can give you advice.

I personally would recommend a nonpark day. I know that depending on the ages of the kids and how they interact with the characters it can get be a short meal or a very long meal. A non touring day is the best because you don't feel rushed.

We like to do our character meals towards the beginning of our trips ---the first or second day. It helps put all of us in the spirit. Chef Mickey and/or Crystal Palace would be great for your little ones. Good luck.

Crystal Palace would mean a park day.

With little ones, I'd recommend a little later - let them see Mickey before you spend a lot of money to sit at a table with a kid who screams in terror whenever Mickey comes near. It happens. My son was not a character fan (though he wasn't a screamer) and if it had just been him, character meals would have been so not worth it.

We like first thing in the morning on a non-ee day. We are usually at the park when the gates open.
