We will be staying at the OKW during our stay and was wondering how the breakfast was at Olivia's? Our original plan called for just eating in the room but after reviewing the breakfast menu it seems to have some good stuff and at a reasonable price.
What are some of the thoughts/past experiences on breakfast at Olivia's?

THanks!!
Breakfast is good at Olivias. Nothing fancy, but they do the basics well. Mrs. U likes the french toast there.
And yes--it's always hard to get away from our "favorite" spots--all of which were "new" at one time or other.
Maybe Kona on one of our next year trips--we go down with several friends on one of them and Kona maybe one of their picks.

Wow! What a GREAT line-up! Looking forward to your Blue Zoo review. (Check out the romance factor for us as we are considering it for our 20th anniversary dinner.)
One of these times you're going to have to make room in that schedule of yours for the GF tea. (I remember you mentioning that it was something you or your wife had been wanting to try.) I think you'd both enjoy it!

I just ate a bluezoo on Tuesday night and it was fantastic!! And yes it is romantic enough for a 20th Anniversary dinner. When we arrived, there was a young couple at a table in the corner (honeymooners?) who were all over each other - apparently caught up in the atmosphere!
There were 5 of us total (colleagues from work) and we shared a selection platter appetizer with oysters, ceviche, clams, lobster and shrimp. Good but pricey. Then we each had our own appetizer. I had the yellowfin tuna tartare - delicious with a spicy kick! And for an appetizer, I had what is apparently becoming the signature dish - whole fried crispy sea bass. I thought I was in heaven! Perfectly crisp sea bass in a delicious spicy red chili bean sauce.
Depsite initial reservations about our waiter (Justin, I think), he was excellent. My initial hesitation had to do with his age - he looked barely old enough to work at McDonald's let alone help us with menu and wine selections! But he was spot on and earned a big tip. I can't say enough about this restaurant - one of the two best meals I have had all year. I'm jealous of all of you who have upcoming reservations - I can't wait to go back!

I'm looking forward to your reviews too. We will be there about the same time. Going to California Grill for the first time to celebrate our 5th Anniversary. It will also be my first F&WF and I just can't wait.
I hope your and Mrs. U have a great time.
