I have stayed at Westgate for all my visits to Disney. We have never had a bad experience staying there, the villas are good size, and they do have alot of activities for the kids. The folks there have always been very courteous. They have a disney planner onsite also if you want to buy your tickets there (if you dont get them ahead of time), there is also Pizza Hut delivery and a store as well. There are several pools so every time we have stayed there we had a pool close by to our villa, and if i remember correctly they do the best they can to accomodate your requests, we requested a ground floor villa the last trip, in close proximity to a pool, and we got one, and the pool was literally right outside the back door. Housekeeping was also very good at making sure you had plenty of towels at all times.

We stayed at Summer Bay a few years ago. Our unit looked right out over the lake. We didn't utilize them, but there were several water type things available for the kids (probably for a fee).
It's farther from Disney than Silver Lake. The year we were there, they were working on 192 and traffic was a pain. We stayed nearby at Orange Lake Country Club recently and this was no longer a problem.
