On the disneyclub website, it states that the 10% off National rental offer is valid through September 30, 2001.

I used the contract number to reserve a car rental for October 2001 on National's website before I read the fine print. National let me use the contract number, gave me an estimate and reservation confirmation with the DC discount.

Will National honor the DC discount for October? I printed out the confirmation webpage as well as the confirmation e-mail they sent me.

Does anyone know if this DC discount contract number is renewed every year by DisneyClub and National and maybe that's why National give me the quote?

I also will be using my DC number with National after 9/30. I called Nat'l and
asked - they said the number on the DC info is the standard DC contract number,
with a discount in effect year round. Maybe it's just the amount of the discount
that changes....

If anyone has heard differently, I'd be interested in knowing....

As far as I know the contract is valid year round and the Disney Club coupons all expire September 30.

I've been using the DC contract number for my trip Nov/Dec but not the coupon.

There is another coupon on mousesavers.com that is good for 1 weekend day & it doesn't expire until April 2002.

You can use the coupon # on this site and get the one night free up to 4/1/02.
You can put the Disney Club contract # in also and get that discount too.

Thanks for all the replies. The coupon doesn't work for me - rental period of 16 days is too long. (Miami trip for my parents - same last name as my DC card) But I have used it for my other trips along with the DC contract # thanks to the posters on this board. The total savings is unbelieveable.

Now that I know that the DC contract # is valid year round, I'll assume it will get renewed. I'll just check disneyclub.com periodically to see if the dates are extended in writing. In any case I'll probably call National to confirm the great rate. Just don't want Dad to show up at the counter and be in for an unpleasant surprise! Will arm him with print outs galore - just in case! :p

There is only one slot for coupon code AND when I tried the Disney coupon #, I was given an error message as the coupon expires before I would need it. How are you guys able to combine these codes? Are you actually calling National or looking online?

Thanks, Carla

Carla, you can use one coupon code (such as the Disney Club one or the one referenced above, from Disney Vacations) and one Contract ID# (such as the one for Disney Club). There is a slot for each on the National web site, and each one gives you a discount. Pretty neat, eh?

I got a mailer from the DC yesterday and it had a new coupon with a 12/31/01 expiration date on it. The coupon code was the same as before though.
