Anyone get thru to Dining yet 9/6 am

I have been hold forever and was wondering if anyone has gotten thru this morning yet?

Yeah, but it took FOREVER-which is understandable. I think they had problems with the lines very early, I had some wierdness going on-no music when you go to "hold" so I hung up and started over but it called back???? I got on "line" at about 7:15, was on hold for about 45-50min and got our PSB for DDs on 12/5!!! I suspect that they have a skeleton crew this morning. We really needed a Sunday PS so Gradma and Grandpa could join us (they live in FL and work during the week)!princess: :cutie:

I have the same problem and called back at 7:09 and nothing yet still on hold. What number did you call?

A lot of the Call Center CM's in the Orlando and Tampa areas probably did not come to work (who can blame them).

Have not been able to get through. I was on hold for over an hour and gave up. Are there any other numbers to try? I understand about the hurricane but if they aren't taking calls than they should have a message telling us.

I called trying to make a PS for my wedding party and got through in two minutes, but then the CM asked for all my resort reservation information and a phone number and said someone would call me back (????). All the time we spent on the phone giving two ressie numbers and phone numbers, I could have booked the entire week.
I know many CMs are not there today, but I'd rather be on-hold forever than go through that. The CM asked me if I was there right now and needed a PS and I said no, it was for December (even hit the right keys on the automated response to reflect that). Once she heard I was not there, she was very rude.

I would give it a day or so because of the hurricaine...don't think they're up to full staff for calls.

:( Well, I finally got through after holding for 3 hours and 14 minutes!! (gosh that sounds insane:rolleyes: ) Anyway, the CM I spoke to was very, very nice considering what the phones must be like! She told me there are only 3 people in the call center this morning and they are running on a generator! As I expected, no tables available for CRT for Dec. 5. Oh well, try again tomorrow.:)

I thought I saw on mousesavers.com that Disney is asking not to call until Tues. Unless it is about travel on Monday or Tuesday.

I did give up, looked at my schedule and called back just now and got through in about a min. I switched and we're doing Epcot on the 5th and going to the PSB at 10:20am. I'll try again tomorrow for Cindy's.

People are there answering the phones and I asked if it was okay to make PS for dec today and they said yes so I did. People got CRT this morning and I did not because I was on hold forever and hung up, so if disney felt they did not have enough staff to take PS they should of said no. There is no official word on WDW.com and when I called the 2nd time I got right thru and got no messages from them not to be calling.

If they weren't ready to be up b/c of the hurricane then they shouldn't have been. I would've gladly waited a day to call for ressies as long as I had the same opportunity to get them as everyone else. Basically I'm saying that I don't feel bad for calling (and getting through) today!

I called the 407-wdw-dine number at 6:59 a.m. and was put on hold. I held for 15 min. before I spoke to a CM. At 7:11 a.m. I told myself not to expect to get CRT, but to my suprise when the CM answered the line I was able to pick my time for CRT. I am soooooo excited - CRT 8:50 am. ressie for Dec. 6.

I also called back at 9:30 this morning to ask some questions (I didn't want to take up too much time so others could get there ressies), and I got though with no waiting.

michmouse- are you sure it is for Dec. 6th? I thought the 90 day mark for 12/6 was tomorrow!!! I called last week and was told tomorrow and that is what the ps calculator said. Please double check- if so I've missed a day of our trip trying!

Are you sure you got Dec 6th because I thought that was tomorrow. I could only book PS for Dec 5th today.

Me too, I hope I did not calculate my days wrong by using the PS calculator I would be so upset if I missed my chance for CRT.

Okay one more question. When you first called did you you hit #1 or #2 and have to enter in your resis # or phone number. By the way congratulations.

Yes, I hit #1 then #2 then I had to enter my reservation #. I was so nervous that I would not make it since I had to enter all this stuff.

I called around noon in the end (lines too busy earlier on) and luckily got the last table for 6 at PSB - 1020 on Dec 5th for my DD's birthday - see you there Pam :D

I was bummed this morning-Dec. 5th is my DD's 8th birthday and DH's 37th birthday-also 1st trip to Disney & I was so hoping for CRT, but also couldn't get through (and when I finally did, it was sold out). We did the same as some others-switched days around and scheduled PSB for that morning at EPCOT. Now I'm just crossing my fingers for CRT for later in our trip (maybe tomorrow will be our lucky morning:) ).

The whole PS thing was frustrating yesterday. I called in at 6:59 and was on hold for 1 hr. 40 min. I finally just hung up because I was mainly trying for CRT. I decided to call back later that morning and was told they were not taking ps's and to give my name, number, and location I wanted and someone would call me back. No one ever called back so I decided to call last night and of course CRT was sold out. I understand that they're recovering from a hurricane and I know they're doing the best they can. I was surprised they were open at all but I think they should've just had a message saying they were not taking any ps's for future dates instead of making us hold for almost 2 hrs. And why were some people able to make ps's for Dec and not others? It all worked out though because I called this morning and got my ps for breakfast at Cindy's on the 6th!!

I did not get a call-back either, which frustrates me. But I called this morning and got through for my reception dinner at CG and for O'Hana, which I was calling for yesterday.

I had no problems getting through at all. I was able to get all the PSs I wanted (finally was able to get 50's PT for 12/4- none of the CMs I talked to could understand why they were locked out of making PSs for 50's PT on 12/4)
