Flight cancelled due to Frances

Well we havn't gone... Tonight our flight was cancelled by Virgin we were given a number of options. Virgin have been great dealing with this. It looks like we won't be able to get there this side of christmas now, so were looking at rebooking for may/june next year. We could of gone before but work commitments and so on have only left us with very few matching time scales.


I hope everyone in Florida is safe and Frances passes without too much damage.

Did you actually get through to Virgin? my friend at work was to fly out on Sunday morning and cant get through to speak to anyone. She just wants to know what they are advising if you want to still take the holiday from early as possible.

I was thinking about you last night, and wondering whether you had already left. I'm absolutely gutted for you and anyone else in the same position. I've heard about other people being flown out to other cities in the US, and then being transfered next Monday or Tuesday, but I think like you I would have changed to next year. You must be totally devastated, but we really don't know what havoc this hurricane is going to do, so rebook for next May and we might see you there.
