Not exactly central-actually the furthest south. Harlingen-down in the Rio Grande Valley. DS lives way up in Denton.

I'm in Katy but my brother is in Round Rock so we go visit him alot.

With I10 sometimes it is quicker to get to Austin than to get to houston.

BaciBecky,

Just do what I did I started this thread to see how many people were in the central texas area. I've gotten a response from some body in the valley, and another one Mom2rb lives in Katy but her brother lives in Round Rock not sure if he's a diser or not.
Good luck on your move and welcome to texas if your moving here from out of state.princess:

Well, just go ahead and pack away any wool sweaters...you won't need those unless you take ski vacations;) . Only talking Austin experience here, but Dec. has seen both mild weather (50-60's) and ice storms. It just depends. In the winter months it tends to hover in the 40's and 50's.

From what people have told me that use to live in Houston it is a lot more humid their then in Austin. Probally because their on the gulf.

My advice would be to start a thread for Houston Disers and then ask them about the weather.
Good luck in your move.:Pinkbounc
