Sierra Suites...which one??

Any thoughts on which Sierra Suite is most convenient? LBV or Pointe Orlando, are either within walking distance to anything? i.e. dining, shopping etc. Any info appreciated.

Although I haven't stayed there, This hotel is located on Palm Parkway which is extremely convenient to Disney and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops.
On the road there is a Pizza Hut, Olive Garden; in the Vista Centre, several nicer restaurants and a convenience store.

Goodings is a huge plaza @ 3/4 mile away (unsure exactly) with lots more restaurants and a larger store.

We have stayed on Palm Parkway 3 times and we won't stay anywhere else off site. (2 times at the Homewood and once at Comfort inn)

Hi... we stayed at Sierra Suites LBV, last fall and it was very nice. I agree with above post, LBV is a great location right next to the Disney east entrance that comes in by the Marketplace. It is however a long long walk from your hotel to the Marketplace...it is not that far to the Disney entrance, but a long way from the entrance to Disney stuff...Goodings is a conventient Grocery store, but very high priced...If you go a little farther south or west on 535 some less expensive big markets will appear. I think you have made a great choice...I think we got a special there for 69 a night....Ted
