Wishes & Poly

Does anyone know if you can see Wishes from the beach at the Poly or is it too far away? If so, do they pipe in the music? A friend of mine has PS at O'Hana's on 9/26 and was wondering if she could see the show from the beach afterwards.

Yes - you can see the fireworks at the MK from the Poly - but no music. We did this one NYE and it was GREAT!!!!!!!

We were at Ohana this past Friday, you could see Wishes from the window, they dimmed the lights and they piped in the music. Very nice.

Wishes was at 8:30 and we had PS for 7:00.

I don't think they will pipe in the music from the beach.

Since they pipe in the music at O'Hana's that will even work out better than going to the beach. I believe their PS are for 6:10pm and Wishes is at 8:00pm that night. I'll tell them to stay at O'Hana's.

Is there a good spot in the restaurant that they should request?

Ask for a window table. We did this in April. The CM said it would be a little bit of a longer wait but "oh my" was it worth it. We could also see a bit of EWP. Ohana's is our favorite dinner restaurant at Disney. The pineapple and caramel is awesome, so is the mesquite turkey. I could go on and on. Thank goodness we will be there in 2 weeks.

Just ate here last week, we first ate and then went down to the beach and watched Wishes from the beach. If you were quiet you could hear faintly the music of Wishes. Then while we were waiting for the boat, the EWP went by.

Thanks for all the responses! I will tell my friend to ask for a table by the window. I thought Wishes was at 8:00pm but I looked again & it's at 9:00. She is going to try to change her PS from 6:10 to 7:00 & ask for a window if possible. She said she wouldn't mind waiting until one opens up. Then she will be able to watch Wishes.
