Looks like Frances may also be planning a visit to Walt Disney World too and may be here this weekend.

If you are planning to go to Walt Disney World this Firday or Saturday, you may want to check the weather channel as Hurricane Charley is forecast to go right through Central Floirda this Firday.

One note for those planning to stay at Fort Wilderness your should be prepared to be evacuated to another resort should Hurricane Frances comes in the Walt Disney World direction, as thats what happen when Charley came here.

Hopefully it will miss Walt Disney World.

Well, that may not be true. The storm is too far out to know exactly where it is going to go in any certainty. Right now, all they are sure of is that it will go north of Puerto Rico. After that it could go straight towards Cape Canaveral. However, it could veer south and hit Key West and there is also a forecast that says it could veer northward towards the Carolinas. With so many factors that go into the steering of a hurricane, one can't be sure of any track until at minimum three days out and still it is guesswork. Take a look at Charley. They thought they had the track and it went a different way then they thought it would.

Frances is at the least just as strong as Charley right now and its currently twice the width, there is a strong possibility it may become a Category 5 (Charley was a 4).
What I see is a lot of tourists planning on the Labor Day weekend and coming into Orlando, if anyone has plans of that nature keep in mind what happened less than 3 weeks ago, WDW may actually be the safest place to stay anywhere in the Orlando area as they weathered the last storm very well with minimal fuss to the guests. Plus they had all the parks up and open the next day though DAK needed a little extra cleanup time.
