MGM - New Construction?

Hello, well, it's not New Construction, but when I went last October and took the Backlot Tour, they were busy working on something. It looked like they were doing major construction because they weren't rehabilitating any pre-existing building. I've been meaning to post this but haven't found the time. Any answers?
BTW the tour guide said it would be announced soon what was going to be there. No, it's not Saratoga, it was right in MGM.

What you saw was probably the beginnings of the construction for the auto stunt show. "Lights, Motors, Action!". They tore down the residential street area of the back lot (where Osborne Lights used to be) to build the statium for this. Its supposed to be huge. The show is scheduled to open early next year,

Yes, that's exactly where it was :)
That sounds like fun....a new and different show to see while temperatures climb in the afternoon :)
