Sercert/Hidden Restaurant in the MK?

My DH saw a special on Disney World on the travel channel that stated there is a restaurant hidden in the Magic Kingdom. He is dying to know where it is - he combed the travel channel site and the Magic Kingdom with no luck.

Has anyone heard of this?

There is a private (although hardly secret) restaurant at Disneyland (called Club 33, I think), but I am not aware of any such similar restaurant at WDW. I would be eager to know if anyone else knows of such a thing.

There is a "Hidden" restaurant in the Magic Kingdom at Disneyland. The restaurant is located near the New Orleans Square area and you have to have "Club Level Access" to gain entry. I have never heard of a hidden restaurant at Disney World.

Is this the one you see when riding on the Pirates of the Carribean? As a child, I always wondered why I couldn't find the restaurant. I don't think I saw it back in 94 when we took my daughter either.

Maybe? He mentioned that it's near the Pirates of the Caribbean.

I am so confused :confused: I didn't see the special so I don't know what he's talking about and he doesn't do message boards so he asked to look around to see if anyone has heard of this.

You see the Mexican restaurant while riding the Mexico water ride at Epcot. I do not recall seeing a restaurant on POC.

where exactly do you see the restaurant while on potc? i dont remember seeing anything.

The Restaurant "Inside" Pirates of the Caribbean is at Disneyland, it is called "The Blue Bayou" (Disneyland Paris also has such a restaurant called "Blue Lagoon".) Disney World does not have a resturant inside Pirates.

Club 33 is probably what he saw. It is very exclusive. When you are walking through New Orleans Square in Disneyland there is a door (that matches all the other doors but it has the number 33 on it.) There is a call box there which you call to the podium and if you are allowed access they will come and escort you up. It is members only and very expensive (not to mention waitlists to become a member). This resturant is also a Part of the Pirates of the Caribbean building as it sits above "Blue Bayou" and behind the Disney Gallery.
