Anyone book their 2005 trips yet? Are there any discounts out? We are thinking about a June trip when I will be down for a conference. Might do a quick trip for DH's 40th in February as well.

I went on the Loew's site last night and couldn't get any June dates to show up....kept coming up w/error message. I DID get an earlier time to show up and the rates for club level at RPR came up at $379!! compared to $319 rackrate this year. Whew! that was a shocker!! We are thinking about the last week or so of June for our next trip down. How about you? Are you lucky enough to have your convention at US?

The only discount available, that I know of, is AAA.

We are booked for january 2 weks RPR but thats through a UK travel agent:jester:

No. The convention is not at US. It is at the huge convention center you see from I-4. Not sure what I will do about accomodations. If DH and DS come down from the start, we will likely book on-site at either HRH or RPR whichever has a better rate. If they come down towards the end of the conference, I will likely stay at the conference center and move over to US when my family arrives.

I know which conv. ctr. you're talking about....my boys (14,17 at time) read about a big car show there right before last year's vacation. Believe it or not, the night we checked in, they wanted us to take a taxi from RPR to I-4 somewhere just so they could sit on a bench and watch all the cars disperse after the show! .....instead, they used the binoculars from the window of our 7th floor room to catch midnight views of the cars on I-4. First trip ever to RPR and they wanted to see cars on the road! lol
.......then they ran on to the Fast and Furious cars at US. Their vacation was made! We're planning for end of June instead of middle of July in 2005 hopefully to beat some of the heat.
