Someone (who is a stockholder) told me that they got discounts at Disney World sometimes when they mentioned they were stockholders. This was some years ago, so probably is no longer true, but I thought I'd ask.

You are correct, it is no longer true. The last discount stockholders received was a discounted rate for membership in the Magic Kingdom Club. I don't know if this discount is in place for the new Disney Club.

hi: they used to give you FREE mkc membership, but they stopped doing that in the early 90's. my youngest son had received a share of disney stock and had the free membership.
