I am looking for some true NE clam lovers to give me a review.

Born and raised in NE -- seacost!
Cape May clam bake is definitely not a NE clam bake.
Here is a link to the menu.

It's not a bad buffet -- just not your NE clam bake w/ chowda, steamers, lobster, corn on the cob, grilled chicken

We were at Cape May in June. Though overall I did like the buffet, by no stretch of the imagination could it be considered a seafood restaurant. They had steamers and mussels, chowder, crab legs ( for an additional charge ), and shrimp. The seafood choices would only be considered appetizers at any NE seafood restaurant. But combined with the other non-seafood items, it was pretty good. I would recommend going as long as you're not expecting too much from the seafood menu.

I agree, not a NE Clambake not even close to a fast food resturant, I would pick BK or McDonalds first]

Lived within the sound of the Northern Atlantic all my life. Absolutely, positively not a NE clambake.

I'm going to have to agree with everyone...it is not a ne clambake, by anymeans!! I'm not sure why, but my hubby kept suggesting that we go back there for our trip, but I had to remind what it was like..then he remembered!! The desserts were great, though!!

No it is not a NE clam bake, but it is a great buffet (if your not looking for seafood only) and reasonably priced. Nice desserts, as well. Definatly worth trying - but just don't look for your typical clambake.

While I know it is not a NE clambake it still is a good buffet.
Then again, where I am from - their stuffing at LTT and other places is not stuffing to me!
Guest it depends where you come from and what you are used to.
