Can You Still Get Discounted Room Rates At the Ocala Disney Welcome Center?

What is some of the % of disounts you may get? Will the last week of November be hard to get these discounts from the Welcome Center?

We Went Nov 28-Dec 9th of 2000 and I stopped in at Ocala to check if I could get an upgrade on a hotel. I was glad I had a reservation already because they had no hotel rooms available at all and only 2 tent sites for the entire time we were there.

For our March 2000 trip I decided to try and get a last minute deal on a room at the Ocala visitor center (we're Fla residents and drive past it on our way). They were offering one special only. It was at OKW and still more than $200 a night. So I tried to book a room at the regular rate at a Value or Moderate resort. Out of all of them only Carribbean beach had a couple rooms avail.

It is a very nice place to stop and stretch the legs though. They have a mini-theatre with Disney movies playing and such.
