Hi Everyone!
Hope you can offer some suggestions for me. We're headed down the first week in Dec. My dad (70) has injured his back and cannot walk more than a few yards without extreme pain. We're staying at the Royal Pacific. Our original plan was was to walk to the parks and then rent the ECV there (is that the right acronym? grin) there but it appears he's not going to be that great and will not be able to even walk to the park. My mom isnt sure he can even make it to the boat dock if the room is far away.
So.....
Can we rent an ECV for the week at the hotel? Where do we go to do this? Anyone know approx cost? Or should we just ask for a room close to the dock and take the boat over every day...I want him to have fun, not be in pain!! Thanks all!

NancyL,
There is a thread open right now all about renting ECV's on site vs. offsite. I'm sure most of your questions can be answered here:

To the best of my knowledge, you cannot rent an ECV from any of the hotels themselves, you would have to go through one of the outside companies listed.
