We are planning to go for a few days the week after Easter. It is ds's spring break and we are going to visit friends in Calif. We decided that we will definitely need to stop off at Disney before we head home.

We will be going to DL before we board the repo cruise back to Florida. I still have days left on our DL hopper passes that expire in December of 2005 so we are thinking 2 days.

I am going at least once, probably twice, and maybe 3 times.

I have to take multiple trips, to take the different kids I would like to take, because I just can not handle them all on one trip.

I promised the cousins (3 girls 8, 11, 12) so I will take at least one trip. Their parents are taking an anniversary trip to Hawaii and sending the kids to California to stay with grandparents who live near Disneyland. The kid’s wanted me (rather then their grandparents) to take them to DisneyLand.

I have a neighbor family that I have sort of adopted (a family that would otherwise be homeless, so I let them live with me for what I thought would be only a few months, but is looking like it could go on much longer).
My cousins want me to bring the neighbor 10 year old girl (Diana) when I take them, because they really got along well with her.

If I take Diana, then I will have to take another trip to take her brother (Wayne), because he does not get along with my cousins. He doesn't get along too well with his sisters either. Last time I took him, to DisneyLand, when I took one of my nephews, and they got along really well. I considered taking him with me to WDW this December, because the nephew he gets along with, will be on that trip. But there is no way I can take multiple WDW trips, and if I take Wayne I will feel as if I need to take his sisters. And there is no way I can take all 3 kids to WDW with me on one trip. This WDW trip started as my Brother’s vacation. Since I try to visit different siblings each holiday, and this year just happened to be my brother’s turn, it turned out that I had to go to WDW to spend this Christmas with him. He would not appreciate me taking extra kids that he doesn’t feel behave as well as his children.

Then there is the older brother (of the same neighbor family but he doesn't live with me), who didn't get to go with us on our last DisneyLand trip, because he was on probation (he broke the law so it was really his own fault). However, he has done so well in the program he is in, that I think he deserves to be rewarded. I also now feel like I can trust him.

After I am done taking all the kids, then I will probably need a vacation, and I can't think of a better place to take my vacation, then the Happiest Place on Earth.

We went in May 2004. I wanted to see the park before the conversion to the 50th celebration especially the castle. We will go back mid-May 2005 to help celebrate the 50th.

We had our honeymoon here 25 years ago. Believe it or not we also went to WDW for our honeymoon right after our visit to Disneyland. It all has special meaning to me.

We are "squeezing" in a four day trip between a few days in San Diego and the two week repositioning cruise from CA to FL next summer. Dates at GCH are 8/16/2005-8/19/2005. We are planning on a few days in WDW after the cruise. We are staying on-site at WDW for the first time. All-in-all a 21 day Disney extravaganza. The whole trip dependent on being able to save enough money before the final payment for the cruise is due in June of 2005.

We bought APs for the hotel discount this last May, so we plan on making our next trip the first week of may 2005, We'll get a few days in before the 50th kickoff, then stay for the 5-8th to see the new parade and fireworks. Cant wait!

Add me to the list of nuts.

I was planning to go in August, but now I'm thinking of going July 16-22. My son's been talking about TOT there since we returned from WDW in April.

I'm so lost when it comes to planning this. I don't know all of the
little tips that I know about WDW.

We are visiting from the 28th April - 12th May (9 days at Newport Beach and 5 days at San Diego), first time in California (from the UK), just hoping Disneyland won't be too mad around the 5th May as we go to San Diego on the 7th so need to visit before then but don't want to miss any rides that might open on the 5th!!

We will be there July 15 - July 19.

We will also be hanging out at DTD and such in late March, Early April but at this time no plans to go to the parks. This is just a half way point on our trip to the Grand Canyon.

We will be there for 3 days the end of DL's 50th anniversary week in July, as part of our 3 week road trip out west!!!! YIPPEE!!!! :) :) :) (Think the Griswolds and WALLY-WORLD, and that would be us! :) :) :)

Not concerned with crowds because fast pass ROCKS at ALL the Disney Parks! Thankfully, with Fast Pass and planning, we've always been able to see and do everything, some things many times!

Our best example: Fast Pass allowed us to ride WDW's Rockin Roller coaster THIRTEEN (13) times over 3 days one EASTER break trip! Now THAT was amazing! :)

We've been 3 weekends out of the last 9 and are going back in October(just me)and in November(all of us for the little one's birthday)so I'm planning those and 2005 trips! LOL :earseek:

I hoping to make it down for Kick Off weekend in May, still not sure about that. I"m sure that we'll end up being there! :smooth:

We will be there for 8 days in July for the big 50th, we'll get there on the 15th and leave on the 22nd. I think we're staying in the Inlaw's time share instead of onsite though.

And I know we'll be there in September for my oldest's birthday and I'm sure we'll go back in Nov. for the little one's birthday again(GOTTA ride Space Mountain! :earsgirl: )

I'm sure that there will be a few weekend trips in between those, but July, Spt. & Nov are for sure!!

We'll be there July 14 - 19. I was there for the 40th and it was great. Despite all of the negative things going on throughout Disney, the park's 50th anniversary celebration is not just going to be historic, but it will be very special as well.

They aren't doing the event next year, but I think they're still doing the overlay. Seems kind of dumb to just stop something so popular, anyway.

I take each of my kids for a surprise trip on their 7th birthday alone with just me. Amazingly they forget from one to the next so it is always a surprise....giggle.

The next one to turn 7 is my third in May. So we will be there mid-May. His real birthday is the 28th but that is kinda late in the school year to be missing school, so we may try to hit it before his birthday and have his birthday be the last day. Not sure and no reservations yet.

I can't wait though. I am so glad I did it this this way. I get to see each of them up close and personal as they discover the magic of Disneyland. Since I have four kids it is a great way to spend a really special time alone with each of them and make memories they will always remember of just the two of us. I always leave these special vacations so in love with my kid again. Love, love, love it.
