welcome gift with fan club???

Do they still give you the loews welcome gift with the fan club rate at the Portofino? We are loews gold but I know we have got it at the Hard Rock and Royal Pacific with the entertainment rate.

I think it depends on the person checking you in. From reading various posts here, You only should get the gift when you have the AAA rate or rack rate.

But there have been threads saying they have gotten the gifts with discounted rates.

So, I guess you have been lucky since you got the with the entertainment rate and I hope you are lucky again.

You are not supposed to get it..sometimes they just give it to you.

I wouldn't count on it.

Well we are back from our stay at the Portofino and we did get our welcome gift. The best gift of all was that our rooms were ready at 10:00am and we ended up in the west wing which was very close to the boat dock and pool. At checkout, neither room was charged a parking fee! Now thinking about it, they never asked if we had a car??

How do you join the Fan Club? I'm from Australia and work for a government department. Can you join as an individual member?

Your company has to participate in the FAN club. But, you can go to themouseforless.com and sign up to be a member. After your approval, one of the benefits is membership to the FAN club.
