Travelling to WDW....................

How do you get to WDW and how long does it take? It takes me 10 hours on a plane-it's VERY boring but I guess it's worth it in the end! And I also have to drive to the airport. The nearest one is about an hour away.:( :rolleyes: :D ;)

The nearest airport is about 30 minutes away, and the flight is only about 2 and a half hours. Driving though is a different story...Without traffic, it's about 17 hours, with traffic, *lol* it's more like 23 hours...What a nightmare that was!

My travel time's exactly the same as Lola- takes about 30- 45 min. to get to the airport, then the flight is 2- 2½ hours. Don't think I could do 10 hours like you Rhian.... lol:D

Hey Lola: I noticed you live in NJ. Do you fly out of Phila. Int'l Airport? I do, so that would explain the same hours to get there in a plane!

It takes 2 and a half- 3 hours by plane (I think) and like 18 hours by car. But we haven't driven there from Ohio before. We drove there when we lived in Virginia, and it took about 12 hours.

It gets sooo boring on the flight, and there's jet lag to deal with at the other end, but you're right Rhian, its really worth it. :D

it takes about a half hour to get to the airport for us, and i think 3 -3 1/2 hours in the air. i could never go 10 hours on a plane, Rhian!

It takes us about 10-15 minutes with good traffic to get to the airport. And about 2 1/2 hours to fly down there. We've never driven, but I know it's a long time!

Well I've never driven there, but I think it takes about 20 something hours to get there by car. We usually go on the plane, and the airport is about 20-30 minutes from where I live and it takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes by plane.

I have never flown but it tekes me a little less than 5 hours to drive! I live right on the Fla. line. I am so glad I dont have to ride for 10 hours on a plane!! That is a REALLY long time!!:)

it takes like 4 hours by plane and about 18 hours by car.

it is six hours by car and if i went by plane it would take six hours total to get to the airport, leave the airport and check into are motel

<font color=blueviolet size=4>If we fly out of Buffalo (which takes about 45 mins to get to) it takes about 2 hrs & 45 mins. If we fly out of Toronto it's about 3 hours... probably more (we haven't flown outta there for a long time though). I think it takes about 22 hrs to drive... hehe, we aren't gunna be doing that anytime soon.

Wow Rhian & Pigsoldier, I can't even stay on a plane for 4 1/2 hrs to go to California! I wouldn't be able to fly for as long as you guys do!!!! It gets so boring! But i guess it's worth it! :)

Wow! I wish WDW was only a 2 hr plane ride away from me! 10 hrs crammed into a plane is pretty tiresome and the jet lag is really annoying.:( It's so great when I step off the plane into the Florida sunshine!:D It's definately worth it!!!!!!!!!:smooth:

Mine's quite easy compared to all of you. I couldn't imagine having to take a plane to Disney! I don't think I'd ever sit through the plane ride. I can barely sit through a 1hr. 45 min. car ride!

i hour to get to the air port and a 2 2/1 3 hour plane ride then depending on what our plans are wusually have a 3 hour car ride which i really hate with my 2 brothers!!!!!!!!!
