We are leaving for USO on Sunday and just wondering how steamy is it??? From the weather forcast it looks like typical FLA weather with an afternoon t-storm. Have not been to FLA in August, so not quite sure what to expect.

I'm thinking....get to the park early and head back to the hotel by 2 and go straight for the pool.....

I just got back yesterday. Its very hot compared to here in NY. We would go to the parks, go swimming in the afternoon, then the parks again. its usually 89-91 degrees.

Have fun

This has been a cool summer in your part of the country. Just wear summer light weight clothes, good walking shoes and drink a lot of water or liquids and you will be fine...Summer showers come most afternoons, but no big deal they are over quickly..Just jump into some store or a covered place and you will be fine....

We were there last week and didn't find it unbearable. It was humid but we are from TX so it was just like home. In general, the weather has been milder than usual.

It's hot and humid, usually in the 90s.

T-storms are often between 3p-5p.

I took the photo in The Woodlands where we live. I usually do them in Brenham since my in-laws live there but we had a lot of bluebonnets closer to home this year.

Thanks! We always go to the Antique Rose Emporium, have a picnic, and make a day of it. It's a tradition with us!

I live in Orlando and we were at Universal on Friday and Saturday..OMG..it was so freakin' hot I thought I was going to be sick. We were all drained after just a few hours, even though we had FOTL passes. It was really awful, I don't remember it being so hot and I've lived here for 16 years. But, the weather may change and hopefully won't be so bad for you. Bring sunscreen and bottled water!

Hi Bean727

Just thought I would be cheeky (as you live in Orlando) and ask whats the weather like at the end of October. My family and I and sister and family are visiting from the UK and wondered what clothes to take with us. On one of the dis boards sometime back I read to take a jacket etc... for the evening as it gets cooler. But do I need to pack long trousers etc.. for the kids.

regards

Debbie

October usually has the best weather here. Most days, the intense heat is over and it hasn't gotten cold yet. However there will be some days where it's either hot or cold, so you sorta have to be prepared for both.
