I keep reading that this is the #1 tip, to ensure the safety of the tickets if replacements are required. We'll be buying our Resident passes at the park on arrival. Where do we photocopy them?
TIA,
Kris

Good Question!
If you're staying at a resort with convention facilities, they have an area offereing business services like copying, faxing, etc. I imagine. Sorry I don't have a definitive answer but I'd say this is a pretty good bet. You might also ask at the front desk of your hotel if they can do this for you but I think this might be a bit more iffy.

Couldn't you just write down the serial numbers from the passes? My understanding is that this will work just as well as a photocopy.

Writing down the serial numbers (I keep it in my Palm) is good enough.

Hi
When you buy your passes at your resort it is placed on your room key. If you lose your key you can go right to guest services and have it replaced. You don't need to have a copy of anything with you.
We were able to have passes that were bought at the Disney Store transferred to our room key with no problem.
If you leave with extra days from a park hopper you will need to save the card and then you may want to photocopy it.

When we went in June and stayed at ASMu, I just asked the girl at check-in to copy the cards/room keys for me and she printed out all of the info I needed in about 2 seconds flat. No problem!
