Spirit is flying from Providence to Fort Myers

Spirit Air has announced it is now flying into Providence RI, to Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, L.A., and other places.

How far is it from Fort Myers to WDW?

They are starting sale prices at $44 one way, and since we always rent a car anyways, I'm wondering if it may be worth it to fly into Ft. Myers and drive from there.

Also, how is Spirit? Do youget assinged seats, or is it a SWA type cattle call?

I just got back from Fort Myers yesterday. The family I was visiting with said Disney is a good 4 hr drive away. Definitely fly to MCO if you can.

Cool, I thought it looked pretty far on the route map, south of Tampa.

Of course, I snet them a note thanking them for flying from PVD, and asking when they will fly PVD to Orlando.;)
