You need either water socks or water sandals at the park, as for where to purchase I would try a local Walmart or Payless shoe store but I did notice on my trip last year that their gift shop sold them as well but of course at a premium, I cant remember the exact price but it was somewhere betwwen 10-15 dollars

Water shoes are a good idea. That way, you can come and go as you please and not have to worry about hot sidewalks, rocks, etc. Also, when you're snorkling, all the coral is fake so you can step on it and water shoes would be good there, in my opinion.

You can get cheap ones at wal-mart, target, etc. They may be easy to find now with end of season, or hard if your store has already changed to the fall season stuff.

You can find better ones online at different athletic stores.

They have some in the gift shop, but from what I remember, they were over $20 a pair.

I thought water shoes were a must for my 7 yo dd. I think we'd have been better off with her sandles. Her water shoe fell off during our dolphin swim. The trainer threw the shoes to the other trainer. The dolphin grabbed 'em and played with them for awhile.

We ended up barefoot for most of the day without any problems.
