Side Trips

I was wondering if anyone has stayed on-site at Universal and taken a side trip to WWD. We went to WWD 5 years ago and would like to re-visit MGM for one day. (Kids are older, taller and can go on rides that they couldn't before.)

We are stayin on-site at US and have heard that there is a shuttle to WWD, as well as Wet n' Wild and Sea World. How do these work? Are they really free? Thank you for your help!

The hotels provide a free shuttle to Sea World and Wet N Wild, but have NO connection to Disney. Mears shuttle will take you between Universal and WDW for about $12 per person round trip.

If you have a rental car it is about a 6 minute drive from Universal Blvd area to WDW. Get on I-4 west from Turkey Lake Rd and go two exits Epcot exit or another location in WDW.
