Surveys and you are a FEMALE CONSUMERS 45 YEARS OF
AGE OR OLDER, here's your chance. I received this email yesterday and I'm going to include all of it. This is NOT a referral link as you can see by reading the whole email.
PineCone Research is ready to grow and we need your help!
If you have ever told a friend about receiving $5.00 for doing surveys for
PineCone Research, it is likely that they have asked, "How can I join?"
Well, now you can tell them how to become part of this elite group of
households. Over the next 4 weeks, we are offering select members the
opportunity to recommend membership to a friend or relative who is not a member
of their household. Currently we have openings for FEMALE CONSUMERS 45 YEARS OF
AGE OR OLDER.
Do you know of households that meet this description that would like to join the
PineCone Research Panel? A link to the PineCone registration page follows and it
can be forwarded to the households that you would like to refer. That household
should complete the registration form themselves and submit it. REMEMBER THAT
ONLY ONE PERSON PER HOUSEHOLD MAY REGISTER. Multiple registrations of the same
Household will void all registrations.
As a member in good standing, you've already seen the benefits of being part of
PineCone Research. So please, share the benefits of membership with a friend.
Just don't forget, please don't tell them about any of the products that you
have seen in our questionnaires or tried in your home. Remember, it's important
that your PineCone Research survey and product testing experiences remain
confidential.
If your referral has any questions, they can email us at
scott@pineconeresearch.com or click on the attached links to learn more about
PineCone Research.

A link to the registration page also follows.

While this is not a paid referral program, we genuinely appreciate your help in
spreading the word that PINECONE IS GROWING!
Thank you,
Karen Scott

This is the best survey site (IMHO). I've been a member for several years. They always pay and from time to time you may even get products to try.
Happy money making to those here who will qualify! :teeth:

Roberta,
Would you mind if this was posted on the DisneyRewards Board also? I know that there are several people that read that board that have been looking for a link to join Pinecone.
I agree that Pinecone is one of the greatest survey sites. They are very reliable and QUICK to pay. If anyone is thinking about starting up getting paid to take surveys, this is the company for them!

Worked for me, glad i turned 45 on my last b-day. Been wanting to join pinecone for a long time. Ieven got an application in the mail to join AARP, but it said you must be 50. Wehn we were in Florida last winter, we drovee over to Ft. Myers stopped a Wendys for lunch and the girl gave us the senior citizens discount, my DH jsut turned 50 a month after we were there. We don't look as old as that though, and we had DS 17, DS13 and DD10 with us. (they must of been our grandkids)

Thank you, Virgo10 for posting this information! I have been wanting to become a member of Pinecone for some time now and have never been able to find a banner.
I applied yesterday, got my acceptance and filled out my first survey today.
At least there was one positive thing about the fact that I turned 45 on Monday.

Can you sign up if you are younger than 45? Are there surveys available for other age groups? :wizard:

If their rules are the same as when I joined, the answer unfortunatly is no. You have to find a Pinecone banner on the internet somewhere. Not the easiest thing to do. I use to see them on various sites every once in a great while but haven't seen any for quite some time.
That's why I was so surprised to get this email and have them ask me to let others know.

I just want to thank you again, Roberta. I have wanted to do this for ever so long but had given up hope. I joined the first day you posted this and was sent a survey the next day!
Unfortunately it took me a day and a half to figure out that the user ID and the password was included in the survey email. I kept trying to use what I usually use for a user ID and password.
lol...I couldn't figure out what I had been thinking when I signed up since I was sure I had the user name right at least!
Fortunately I finally figured out that I was supposed to use the ones they sent me in the survey letter. (I DID see the ones they had supplied, it's just that I thought those were for use AFTER I logged in, in order to access the particular survey)
Anyway, it's all straight now and I am looking forward to more surveys. It was the easiest $5 I ever earned...and I didn't have to submit anything afterward...it's all automatic. Just fill out the survey...easy...and they do the rest. Very nice...and the survey was fun!

After reading this thread I also joined PineCone. I filled out the info that was asked and the next day I got an email with my user ID and password. While I was logging on the site, my husband was in the room and I told him about what I was doing. He asked me to please not do it, because of the info that they collect.
He has a real thing about data mining and privacy, which is valid.
Anywhoo, I logged on and they asked for additional info about me and my husband. I was ok with the name, address and phone number, but a little uncomfy about the DOB, and income, employment and education. I understand why they ask it, and I feel pretty confident that they will not share it, but I read the privacy report and it stated that they do not share your info, but their policy can change at any time.
Soooo, I emailed Karen and asked her to please remove me from their database. I got an email the next day from her and she did remove me. Now this is the fun part (for those of you who hung on this long). She said that they had already sent me my check and to just destroy it when I receive it. Talk about being quick to pay!! I had not even filled out the survey and they already paid me. I am sure this is a safe way to make some extra $$, but we are a little more paranoid than the average bear. :wave2:

Yes. They are looking for a particular group (Old ladies, umm, no that's not it... Mature Females! :teeth: ) Maybe sometime in the future I'll get another email asking for a different age group.
Muushka I understand where your husband is coming from. I have a friend who's very concerned about the info request that some sites have. But even she joined! I guess my raving about all the cash I've earned with them over the years made it an offer she couldn't refuse. Pinecone has been around for quite a while and, for what it's worth, I never noticed any increase in spam when I joined them.
One more tip to those who are new to this site. Do your surveys as soon as you get them. Maybe that has nothing to do with the number of surveys you'll get, but it might. I get quite a few and I jump on them as soon as they show up in my email.

Since I seemed to be the only "mature" woman who was not accepted, I decided to try agin. I filled out the information again yesterday (Sunday) and received a reply today (Monday)! I already completed my first survey! I have a feeling I initially made a mistake in my e-mail address (have a habit of typing my own name incorrectly :teeth: ) so if you sign up and get no response I would check that out!

I got my $5 check today! The letter said they were enclosing my check and a brochure about the business. No brochure. I read pretty much the entire website -- is there anything in it that isn't covered there?

To those of you who were suppose to get a brochure but didn't, I'd contact Karen Scott, the woman who sent me the original email. She can be reached at:
scott@pineconeresearch.com
Let her know what happened. I've had various questions over the years and she or someone else at Pinecone has always been very helpful.

Thanks so much. A dear friend saw your post and alerted me about the opportunity. I signed up and got my first survey and completed it already. I know someone that participates in Pinecones surveys and they are contacted quite often and sometimes receive products to try.
One more small amount of money to add to that ING account to make it grow.
Thanks for letting everyone know about this.

I belong to Pinecone already, but I sent this link to a women I know that just moved to FLA. and had wanted to join for some time now. She tried all this week and it did not work either. Maybe they filled their quota or something.
Sorry I can't help you. Only suggestion is to look for a Pinecone banner, or when someone else posts another email link.

Reached the app, with no problem, signed her up and sent her an email right away telling her, just in case they accept her and she gets an email..she'll know it worked. Thanks Karla for getting my old mind working again!!! :teeth:

Thank-you, followed the link, joined about 2 weeks age, and got a $5 check in the mail.. It told me to go to the pinecone sight and fill out the survery (I was paid ahead of time.) Only problem was it told me I had to fill it out by 8/26. We were out of town a few days, so I filled it out on 8/28. It still seemed to work. I was akded if I'd like to fill out more. Of course I said yes. Thanks again!

I just tried again after reading your post. All I get is a page that asks for your log in information. There was no application. Did you have to click on something to get from the linked page to the application?
