DH and I are thinking of booking the CP package at Mitsukoshi and have a few questions. My DH is allergic to peas and I noticed that the meal come with grilled vegetables and steamed rice. Do either have peas (including snow peas)? Also, I am a huge dessert fan:teeth: and I noticed no chocolate desserts:( but a few chestnut dishes. Anyone tried either? Any good?

Not to be a smart aleck(which I admittedly am) isn't Mitsukoshi a department store at the Japan pavilion at Epcot?

It's also the name of the restaurants upstairs in the pavillion. I ate lunch at the Tappanyaki Grill there (I assume it's the one you are refering to), but i can't remember if there were peas or not. I happen to love snow peas, and you'd think that would have made an impression on me if there were there, so I'm thinking they weren't. I know there were mushrooms (I hate those), zucchini, cabbage, carrots (I think), onions, and most likely bean sprouts. Didn't try any of the desserts as I was stuffed, though I most likely would have gone with green tea ice cream if I had tried any. Japan isn't as big on chocolate as we are.

I hate peas and have eaten there numerous times, so I can tell you for sure that there are NO peas! As for dessert, just walk over to France. ::MickeyMo

There are no peas/snow peas and there isn't any cabbage or carrots either as one poster mentioned. LOL

It's onions, mushrooms, zuchinni, bean sprouts and noodles. That mixture is added to the meat that you ordered. The seasonings they use are soy sauce, butter and some sesame seeds.

The green tea ice cream is tasty but they also have a fresh fruit boat to die for! Very impressive and it serves two easily.......but it's definitely not chocolate. ;)

I can confirm the lack of peas - Teppenyaki & Tempura Kiku are must do's for us each trip as my son is a sushi addict.....
