Hey dere...

We stayed at the RPR for the first time earlier this month. In short we loved the resort.

Rate: $159 Fan Club Rate
We are Loews First members but did not receive any goodies since we booked at the Fan Club rate. No biggie....

Room #1454:
Great room with IOA view at the very end of the hallway on the 4th floor of Tower 1. About as far from the elevator as you can get. No problem...we like to walk. It was very quiet at this end of the hall (except for the early morning when they fired up the Hulk coaster when we were able to hear a low droning sound)

Here is the view from our room looking right towards IOA:

And here is the view looking left towards the boat docks:

Like I said we don't mind walking so we never used the boat transportation to the parks. The walk along the canal to the parks was quite pleasant.

We ate at Tchoup Chop one night and found the food and atmosphere to be excellent.

FOTL access was, of course, a HUGE benefit.

In short we loved the joint and will stay there again on future trips.

Glad you enjoyed RPR. We've stayed there two years in a row and still want to go back. I know what you mean about far from the elevators....our last room was that far away! I love the way it's all landscaped and not just around entrances and stuff. Looks like you had rain? Was it just the usual showers or more?

Heh...I took that pic right after check-in. It spritzed rain for a few minutes and promptly stopped. That was all the rain we had during the Universal segment of the trip. I meant to take some pics through a dry window but, as usual, I FORGOT!

Sounds like u had a good time

Sure did!
