I just have a silly question. I keep reading for kids that you bring koolaid or such along and add to a water bottle. Do you bring a big canister and measure out so much into the water bottle? What do you do, bring? Any suggestions. I thought this was a good and different idea. Thanks alot!

I would think a baggie and a little scoop would be the way to go.

I would put a pre-measured amount into a baggie, and just pour that into the water and shake it up

We usually take a case of water (in the individual bottles) to Disney World with us. We also bring the cannister of the drink mix with us. I also bring a few empty water bottles with us. All this stays in our hotel room. We sort of recycle the bottles. When we have finished the water in one of the bottles, we save the bottle and let it dry out completely.
Each day when we head out to a park I take a few bottles of water in my backpack. I don't really try to keep them cold. I also take a few of the empty (COMPLETELY DRY - OR IT WILL STICK) bottles that I have put the pre-measured drink mix in. I throw those into my pack. Often I use Gatorade mix, if we're there when it's really hot. When we want a drink, we find a cold water fountain, add the water, shake and drink. We might use the bottles once or twice before throwing them out in our recycling bin at the hotel.

I scoop some into a baggie, and I carry a measuring spoon in the baggie. Before I go, I buy the water I'll be taking, and I figure out how many spoons it takes for those water bottles.
When we go to the parks in the morning, I head out with a full bottle of water. After it's gone, I measure out Kool Aid mix and pour in free water from a counter service restaurant. (It's colder than water fountains and you don't have to worry about germs.) I put the drink mix in first then the water, then I put the cap on and shake.

I found a great Artic Zone 2quart container. It looks like a rubbermaid clear plastic
container with a wide mouth. It has a thermal jacket with shoulder strap. We filled it with
ice every morning & water.

Baby bottle liners make great "little baggies" to put the pre-measured amount of drink mix in. Just roll the tops over and tape shut. Much easier to pour from into the small mouthed water bottles. You can even make up a ziploc bag full of these little baggies before you leave home. After all every second counts when it can be spent enjoying the magic.
