APH Discounts at Portofino Bay

Hello. Last spring, I reserved 2 rooms for later this month at Portofino Bay using APH discounts. Since I am getting two rooms, do I need 2 annual passes? When I spoke with a reservationist earlier to change something else about the reservation, he said it was their policy to only have one discount per annual pass and that I would need to buy another one (for my wife for example). Is this true or just this reservationist's opinion. Thanks.

I booked 2 rooms for this July and never even got into a discussion about how many AP holders in our party. We've stayed twice at HRH and twice at PBH, all at AP rate, and never once been asked for evidence of AP status at check-in.

I have never been asked for my AP at check-in but the rule is that you must have one pass per discounted room.
