I was wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions on making a dopey costume for a toddler. Or if anyone knows of any store or website that I can buy a costume for a reasonable price.

Here is a thought on making a dopey costume. If I remember correctly dopey wears purple pants and a green shirt. What if you bought some purple sweat pants and an oversized green sweatshirt. You could get a fleece purple hat. Make the ears with some thin craft foam and some sticky back felt from your local crart store. Just hot glue them to a hairband or the hat. A little blush on the cheeks and it might be real cute.
I hope this helps.

Oversized green shirt is a great idea. Maybe use a belt to help secure the top like Dopey. Disney makes a great Dopey hat complete with ears attached. I have seen them in the parks and at the World of Disney store at Downtown Disney. May be available other places too, but I think it would give the costume a completed look wihtout effort. I have looked in the past for premade costumes and that's the best I've come up with.
Glad to hear of another Dopey fan out there! thewave:

Thank you so much for the ideas. I am heading to Disney next month so I will have to keep my eyes open for a Dopey hat.

That's where I found my Dopey Hat!
I was Dopey two years ago! It was great since it was a cold night and it kept my head warm!LOL
Good Luck at finding him!
