i'm not sure how many airlines have this...
but tonight i was checking on my US Airways miles balance, and noticed they have an online Rewards Program, where you get points for shopping through their site, etc.

does anyone do a program similar to this, that is run by the actual airline?

any comments/advice about them?

not sure if this belongs on this board or the Transportation Board.

I don't know of any airline run rewards programs. Most airlines offer affinity credit cards which offer miles per dollar spent.

There are rewards sites that offer points that you can trade for airline miles. To earn American Airlines miles, check out www.aolaadvantage.com You can earn points by shopping through their site and for doing surveys that you can qualify for once every two weeks.

Another site like that one is www.clickrewards.com They offer the same deal for shopping and surveys, but you can transfer
miles to many other airline programs.

It would be extemely difficult to earn a free ticket doing either of these programs, but it's a great way to add to your airline
frequent flyer account
