DD and I just prayed for our "Family" !

Was thinking that exact same thing as I watched the news last night. We were in Florida a year ago this coming week, and it made me sad to think of the terrible situation they are all in right now.

The news is devastating this morning...so much worse than they expected. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Charley's path. Too many lives have been lost already...hoping the worst is over.

Prayers being sent to all of those who are dealing with Charley and also everyone waiting to hear from a loved one who may have been affected by Charley.

I have friends who have a second home in Port Charlotte and even though they are worried about it, they are more worried about people who lose their primary homes with no place to go.
Of course with that said, losing possessions, is nothing compared to loss of life and injuries. My prayers go out to everyone touched by Charley's chaos.

This is so hard to hear and see isn't it? A beautiful state like Florida with such devastation......:(

I feel so bad for the folks that lost loved ones and for the homes etc. that are lost now.:( I cannot understand why people would want to stay in their homes, under an evacuation .....especially the people in the trailer parks in Punta Gorda. We've been glued to the TV and CNN watching.:(

I guess we'll see a lot of the damage still when we go down in November.:( Mother Nature at her worse.

Prayers and lots of Pixie Dust for all of the people in Florida and up the east coast too.:sunny:
