Does anyone use this?
I've noticed in the very brief time since I signed up for this that the good rates are always gone by the time I get the email...then two days later I get a notice that they've gone back up!
I guess I'll just have to watch the fares myself...luckily I didn't miss anything that I could have used.
Just a bit of warning....

Nope! I also do not find their incredible rates using fare watcher. I do the investigating myself and find good rates.
I've never spend more than $183/rt ns from BDL to MCO!
I also just got a n/s flt from Southwest Air for Nov. for $93/rt! Is that great or what!!!!
I saved $300!
Go surfing.............

I actually have had good sucess using this. However, the fares go fast and it helps to get it on an email system where you are on line almost all the time.(I get mine at work!)

CarolA,
Actually I've received the emails as soon as they've come through (ie. I had already checked my mail and was rechecking) and when I click on the links the prices are back up. I do have it set to notify me when the prices go up too, and I usually don't get that notification from them for a day or two......I'm online pretty much, though not all the time.

I've found it to be pretty much worthless. The really great fares only last a few hours, normally.
The fare watcher only sends an e-mail out once a day...usually using fares from the previous day. Your much better off checking daily yourself.

Fares change 4 times a day Mon-Fri and 2 times a day on sat and sun.

Yes, the rates are sometimes gone by the time you check them. But sometimes they are still good! Just last weekend I got round trip ticks from Dallas to Orlando for about $100 total per ticket.
I think it is good to use to give you a clue when prices may be down also. I thought the rates I got were GREAT (and they were), but later in the same week I found some better flights (direct) for the same price. Next time I will look around also.
BTW - You can sign up at airline websites also to send you farewatchers also. This may be a better way to do it.
