i just read in themurryfamily's post that they have checked in on line. could someone please explain this to me as i have never heard of it before. any info would be cool.

It's quite easy - but you will need a teleportation modem to send you bags to the airport :jester:

You can visit the Virgin Atlanitic website and do an on-line check in (you need your passport numbers etc.) 24 hours before you fly (just gets all the seat allocation and formalities cleared so you can just turn up at the airport and go to a special check-in deskand just hand over your cases).
