Rats! Animal Kingdom was booked!

So we're all 6 nights at Fort Wilderness cabins, instead of switching the last two, as we'd expected, to a Savannah view instead...

I was briefly devastated, but I'm moving on (except I'll be checking regularly for cancellations). I know the kids will love the cabin.

So step one is done...I just have to hold off a bit for those pesky Cinderella's Royal Table attempts before I commit to which night we can do the MVMCP.

Someone console me and tell me I won't miss AK at all, and can enjoy the savannah after we have dinner at Boma's one night.....

We did AKL Savannah for a couple of days 3 years ago. It's really great, but we also did a lot of exploring of the resort and seeing the different savannah's from the lookout areas in the hotel, as well as outside. Plan on spending lots of time before and after dinner to enjoy the animals, and it'll be fine!

BTW, I love the Cabins!

That's exactly what we'll do...and after all, Disney World isn't going anywhere! I'm sure we'll be back...and back...and back....

How do all of you get that countdown in your signatures? I'd love to have one of those added in. My DH would find it very amusing; it suits my OCD with this whole planning to a "T!"

Hi Kris, although we had a very enjoyable stay at AKL back in July 2001, now we just go and explore the resort and see the animals on the savannah, as maryliz has suggested, before and after our "must do every trip", dinner at BOMA.

Can understand your frustration. We wanted to stay at AKL for one night at the beginning of our stay but it was booked so we are staying at POP instead. We did add on one night to our trip and did get AKL so we get to stay there on this trip afterall. We wandered around it two trips ago and decided we wanted to stay there once.

We are now doing three hotels this trip so we'll see how it goes. One night at POP, five nights at OKW and one night at AKL.

Can't wait.

That was easy! I'm positively in awe of people who understand html....thank God for techs.

I wouldn't mind a hotel hop, but I'm cheering up already. I'm really excited to experience that coziness of the cabins. We're flying to Florida, but staying with my MIL and FIL in Fort Myers first, so we'll be able to bring up plenty of stuff to add to the comforts.
