Hi everyone,

We are planning our annual March trip to WDW/US, and for various reasons, especially flight issues, a 10 night trip looks best. We are staying one week in a pool home [love staying onsite, but we really want the space] and then we would have 3 nights at Hard Rock. We are WDW vets and have no stresses in planning or finding our way around. But we never go for more than 8 days. My sons are very young -- they will be 3 and 5 by then -- and I wonder if they will get homesick, or stressed out. Being on a WDW trip can be exhausting for all of us. On the one hand, I love the idea of a longer trip so we'll have a couple of days to chill. On the other I think this is just way too long.

I have a good airfare on hold until midnight. Quick opinions appreciated!

Last May we spent 19 days with DD 4 & 2 in Orlando and they had a great time. We call them "Daddy Days" because Daddy doesn't have to go to work. They had a great time and never mentioned home.

Now, when we got home there was hell to pay. Everyone was off schedule and cranky for a week or two. At Disney they got to stay up until 10:00 to see Illuminations/Wishes and got all the Mickey junk food they could eat, etc. Their withdrawal symptoms were hard :) , but Daddy got to go back to work :teeth: and Mommy had to deal with them.

The only problem I have with my DD and long vacations is that she tends to come back home sick if we stay anywhere longer than two weeks. I guess she gets used to the environment when we go away she comes back home exhausted. No vacation is too long if you can afford it. That's my opinion.
