Post card from Disney - but not the one I wanted!

..I have gotten 2 postcards from Disney in the mail in the last week. The first was for the Disney catalog (take $10 off I think) and the second was today for DVC. :rolleyes: When I saw them I was falling all over myself, dropping the rest of the mail to see what they were.

I can't take it! DH is going to have to check the mail from now on.. no wait, he might throw the postcard away...

Maybe I'm just not a postcard person. Anyone else get fake out postcards from Disney lately?

I got the DVC postcard yesterday also. I was so excited when I pulled this big card with Pluto on it out of the mailbox, and then so disappointed to read what it was. Oh well, it's the first postcard I have ever received. I'm hoping it's a sign of things to come. A girl can dream, right?

Looks like we're on the same mailing list! :rolleyes: I have been checking my email almost hourly, just about mugging the mail man..............and low and behold, I see Pluto in my mail box yesterday!! :hyper: I thought FOR SURE......................:scared1: I wonder what the mailman thought when I said a word or 2 that I shouldn't of!! :teeth: I do think I am making him a bit nervous! (gives the term "going postal" a whole other meaning!! ;) )

Maybe this means our other postcard will soon be coming!! (hey, we can all hope, can't we?!) :sunny:

I'm in WV (DC metro area) and got a coupon yesterday!! On Saturday I got the DVC coupon and a survey coupon for our last trip and yesterday (Monday) there was the elusive coupon in my box. Wait, it gets better, it has my address on it and the name on it......is a boyfriend that went with one of my daughters 5 years ago to WDW. The reservation for the room was not even in his name. He was the "other" adult in the room. If I wanted to use it, I would because it has my address on it, but my husband is a CM and the rate is the same rate we are paying for our October trip. So looks to me like the folks getting some of the postcards are the folks who don't travel to WDW quite as often as most do. Why bother to send us a coupon when you already go 4 to 5 times a year.

This sounds like me. But mine was email! I have been checking my email nonstop! Yesterday I finally got an email from disney but it was reminding me that it is 90 days out and time to start making my PS's!
I was so mad and i have also never recieved a PS reminder email before with any of me other trips.
Everyday I walk to the mailbox with my fingers crossed! Maybe if I would stop thinking about it nonstop it would happen!
