:Pinkbounc To everyone who is looking for a great deal for a car rental. I found a great rate through budget (internet) get up to 25% off plus $20, coupon must be presented at counter to get the extra $20 off. To print out the coupon go to the following site.http://www.budget.com/partners/disney.html The coupon expires 12/31/04.

The Discount code/BCD is X793201 and Rate Code is L5. For 9 days estimate rate $215.33
with Rate code CF estimate rate $208.63
Sometimes there is no option to put in a rate code

***valid for compact car or larger & minimum of a 5 day rental ***

Check out Last Minute Specials and make sure you change the location http://www.budget.com/lastminutespecials/index.jsp

FYI I believe:

the following rental car companies are in the terminal: L&M, Budget, Avis, Dollar, Alamo & National

the following rental car companies the car is not in the terminal, (ie shuttle to counter and car, outside the airport terminal or counter in terminal, shuttle to car) Thrifty, Hertz, Payless, Holiday, EZ Rent a car, New Frontier, Ace, U-Save & Enterprise.

I am sure there are many more rental car companies.

******* UPDATE ***** check out this site for additional codes **** was posted on another thread by ozziewags

The rate code is for up to 25% off. I tried it and it only gave 10% off in Orlando.
Thanks for the info.

Does the $20 come off of the price quoted with the codes, or is it already off? I came up with a full size for $143 with taxes. It estimated the taxes. Does that price usually change?
Thanks for the info

It is already taken off. I believe the taxes are on mark. I book a 9 day rental full size car at $215 includes unlimited mileage, taxes fees & surcharges. It does not include damage waivers, supplemental liability insurance:Pinkbounc

I tried that code with my rental and the rate went up! Maybe it's because I'm getting a minivan - don't know.

But thanks anyway.

The base rate was over $600 for a mini van with that code, I used an email code and the same van was $400.05 including all the taxes. What a huge difference, with the taxes included it would be over $700. Ouch!

I got a Mini van reserved for 9 days for $350.00 with fees and taxes included.

The coupon reads:

Rent Now and Get 25% off a Weekly Rental from Budget

Get up to 25% off and take an extra $20 off the weekly rental of a compact or larger vehicle WHEN YOU PRESENT THIS COUPON AT THE TIME OF RENTAL.

So I believe you get an extra $20 off your quoted price of $215.00 as long as you don't forget to take the coupon

Thanks for info. I booked a full size and saved almost $50. Total cost was $147.27 for 7 day rental in November.

I'm looking for an SUV. The Budget site came up with $389.97 (mid-size SUV) including taxes and stuff. Orbitz didn't list a rate for Budget, but came up with $340 for L&M.

I figure I'll wait a while and keep checking the sites.

Sweet Angel, from what it looks like, budget's best deal is for a full size car. I would book L & M before the rates go up (see there cancellation policy)

I booked an SUV via Budget last April for 1 week. Total cost was exactly $200 including all taxes. They had a special deal that advertised Ford Escapes at the intermediate price level. Of course when I got to the rental counter, the agent tried to put us in a regular intermediate car because she said the SUV wasn't guaranteed, even though that's what was advertised. After some heated words and her doing her best to sell us up, we ended up with our Escape at the discounted rate. She had over 6 of them in the garage and still had to give us a hard time!

This time, I rented a mid-size SUV (Jeep Grand Cherokee) from Dollar for 5 days in Orlando for $209 including tax. Not as good as the other deal, but the best I could do for our time period for the time being. Keep checking though - the rates yo-yo up and down constantly.

So far this is the best I've found on a full size.
I have 9 days in the beginning of December for $195 total including the coupon they'll honor at the desk.
Thank you!

Wow, this is a good deal for a full size. Currently for 11/26 - 12/9, I have a full-size reserved with Dollar for $453 inc. taxes. This gives me $289 inc. taxes. Are you sure there aren't catches with using this code (like presenting a certain card or something)? I usually only rent from Dollar but that is a substantial savings.

No catches, just bring the coupon with you.

I have been looking to see if there is a better deal out there, so far I haven't found any. Let me know if there are any better deals. Thanks :jumping1:

I rechecked my rate and it had fallen another $20 dollars. My rate code is CF not the L5 that you had posted. I ended up for 10 days for $231.81 and then taking the coupon off $211.81. That's only total cost of a little over $21 dollars a day for a full-size. YaHoo!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

we are leaving on Wed. I went to the Alamo site on Monday to make new car ressies and I booked a mid size for 10 days for $182 that is including all taxes and it is located on the airport so you don't have to take a shuttle..

I also got the CF code. The rate was the same as when I previously checked (159.64 w/taxes etc.) for 6 days but with the 20.00 coupon it would be MUCH BETTER. Anyone having trouble printing the coupon -- not sure if it's their website or my printer. Tx.

Try ctrl-p when you bring up the coupon. This should print it. I hope this helps. :Pinkbounc

When I go to their website to try to check prices I see where you
enter the BCD code, but I can not find the place to enter the rate
code or cupon code. Can someone explain, I hate to be so blonde!

Hi WinterMom, there are no blond's at this site. I am sorry, it was my mistake. When I originally started this thread, you had a spot to enter in the rate code. Now Budget does it automatically. Sorry.
