My family and I are going to Disney World for Christmas this year and we were wondering where would be a good place to eat for Christmas Dinner. We're a family of two parents and two young adults (23, 24), but we like places like Chef Mickey's. Something fun yet something that would make a memorable Christmas.

Thanks in advance for any tips!

Welcome to the DIS SuperFryMFC! :wave2: You will get so much help from the wonderful people on this board. I have 2 suggestions for Christmas dinner and you will probably get many more. Liberty Tree Tavern is good - characters and traditional holiday meal. We also like Boma. The food is good and they will have some of their unusual dishes and traditional holiday foods also. I hope you have a lot of fun planning your trip!

Pretty much all the Disney restaurants will be serving some variation of xmas dinner.
I would suggest Whispering Canyon. The WL is decorated in such an incredible way.

Just remembers make your PS at the 90 day mark and no later.

I'm also going to be there over XMAS, but with a larger family group (12 of us), and I was thinking of Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge for a XMAS lunch. But, I wondered if we would have trouble driving to the resort since it's close to Magic Kingdom, and I'd almost expect that MK would be closed to guests at lunchtime on XMAS day. Any comments on this, or should I ask on the transportation board? We're staying off-site and I just don't want to be stuck in traffic for 2 hours trying to get to lunch!

We were at WDW Christmas 1997 and had a pretty traditionl dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. The character interaction was great, food was very good and I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Crowds at MK were horrendous though.
