I'm a water fanatic -- I hate pop! -- so I know I'm gonna need those filtered Brita bottles everyone was talking about.
Is Wal-Mart cheapest place to get them? Where are they in Wal-Mart (what section?)
Thanks!

In the PLUMBING section?! As in pipes and plungers and stuff?
Glad I asked, I NEVER would have looked there! LOL!
Just in case my K-Mart doesn't have them...where does Wal-Mart have them....in the sewing section?

Wal-Mart stocks them in the plumbing aisle as well.
Also, if your K-Mart has a section with drinks, check there as well.

Our Kmart had them in with the brita pitchers for $6.99 and in the plumbing section marked clearance for $3.00 and the filters were $2.00.

I'm going to check again today. My KMart had them full price and were located near the bottled water. I want to get these, but after hearing they were on clearance, I just do not want to pay full price.

Thanks, WaltD4Me, for posting this question. I was just going to post this question myself!
Went to WalMart, searched in housewares, auto, camping areas, but no Brita bottles...I would not have thought of looking in plumbing area!!
Guess I'll be making a trip back to WalMart pretty soon, or maybe K-Mart. Most of the K-Marts in our area have closed, but there is still one open; hope there are still some bottles left at the clearance price...
BTW, our WalMart had lots of the water mister fans available (many in lime green) for 5.97

Look for the kitchen faucets at WalMart. The Brita products are nearby. Not necessarily the cheapest, but quite convenient!
Personal opinion: Don't buy a misting bottle for summer. They're a pain to carry and with the high humidity, they made me feel worse (was squirted by a few accidentally). We found the basic fans (about $1 at WalMart) worked better and were easier to carry. They have a little metal ring on the bottom--buy a split keyring or one that screws shut to attach to it so you can loop it over a finger or attach it to a belt, purse strap, etc.
Of course, I live in the low desert, so what do I know about humidity? Other than I don't like it!

I ended up getting ours at Wal mart for full price.
All of our Kmarts around us have closed up also and still am bummed over that!! I really liked Kmart!!! :(
There is a Kmart in the town my dad lives in so I asked him to check to see if they had any. Told him to look in housewares and in the plumbing section to cover both areas, but he called and said that they didn't have any. Oh well!!! Don't want the family to get sick especially DD. I've been to Flordia twice {but this will be my first trip to WDW} and still remember the taste and smell from the water. And really don't want to have a ton of bottle water with us. LOL!!! DH says I'm already bringing the kitchen sink. LOL!!!

Oh, and if you use the battery-operated fans, be sure to bring a lot of batteries or purchase them outside the parks. They eat the things! About a set per day for us. Two AA batteries in the parks were about $3.50, including tax!
And don't forget to carry a spare set with you each day!

Just think how much you'll save on bottled water each day, and they won't seem expensive!
Even taking my first bottle (and sometimes second, if I change parks) into the parks with me, I still buy 3 or 4 bottles each day! But I don't drink much of anythng else, so it's a trade-off.
