Ok, don't think I'm crazy, but one of the surprisingly good treats my DH and myself got on a whim on our recent trip was one of those bags of a dozen freshly made mini doughnuts at the stand in Typhoon Lagoon right by the locker and towel rental place. Has anyone else enjoyed those as much as us, and more imprtantly, does anyone know if any other place at Disney World where one could get these? I don't know if it was our sheer hunger, but there was surely something about those dougnuts that made them awesome!

We bought those last August when we were there. They are really good. The kids couldn't stop eating them!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I've never been to Typhoon Lagoon - so I haven't has the donuts ------BUT, last year - at the Food and WIne Fest - during a lunch and Learn with Gale Gand and Rick Tramunto --- they both went on and on about those donuts - how they were now their favorite food at WDW and the best donuts they have ever had --- and these are renown Chefs (Gale Gand is a world famous pastry Chef - with her own Food TV dessert show).....

I had them at both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach-they are delicious!!! I also just had them a couple of weeks ago in Niagara Falls-my son is a big Krispy Kreme fan and I almost had to force him to try them-but he was amazed how good they were. They remind me of the cider donuts we get around here, but the fact that you get them hot is what makes them the best.

These are a must for us when we visit Typhoon Lagoon. A bag of donuts and a lemonade. Yum!

I've had them at Blizzard Beach and they are wonderful with the chocolate dipping sauce. Yum! Just another excellent reason to spend time at the waterparks, as far as I'm concerned! :Pinkbounc

Did you know a private family started that stand? I read about them in one of the 2 Celebration books out a few years ago. They were pretty wealthy and moved to Celebration, then were looking to start a new business.

I haven't had them yet, but they smell SOOOOOOOO good! We're usually "running" by in the morning, and too tired and hot to stop on the way out!

I'll have to get them next time!
