losing your child on hol must be your worst nightmare. i have read various threads about tagging you kids in various ways. i found a site which sell quite cool id bracelets and wondered if anyone has used them.

this is the product i was interested in. i wondered if anyone has used it? what was it like? also how many waterproof id strips would i need for a two week trip? would one last two weeks? or would i have to change them daily?

if anyone has any feedback on this i would greatly appreciate it.

And they were great! I have had that one and the disposable ones. Three ID strips are enough but you can buy additional strips if you need them.

I put our hotel details on one of the strips and we hired a mobile whilst we were out there and put that number on the other side of the strip.

Lost my 6 year old in the spiders web at HISTA playground (MGM). I was still waiting for him to come out the spider web exit and he had turned around and climbed out the entrance. He tried to leave the playground and was stopped by the CM bouncer there. He passed him to this tallest, cuddliest CM who towered over everyone and carried him back to me before I even knew he was lost!

If possible explain to your children to find a CM. Ask them for help.

I found that entire playground a total nightmare. So many exits and entrances it was impossible to know where the children were! (Though you could argue this was a good thing ;))I must admit I was reassured by the presence of the CM on the door, it's good to know they do stop children from leaving without their grownups!!
