Hello All,
Sometime ago i read a thread in this forum regarding a new airline flying from Birm to Orlando, i do not know the name of the comapny but i am pretty sure it has the word "blue" in it's name.
I also belive it is a scheduled flight.
Can anyone help me on the matter ?
Thanks

Don't think they are quite up and running yet but I'm fairly sure that it is Fly Blue that are doing the Birmingham Orlando route.

I think its called flyblu, i have looked on their website and it looks good, although the flight schedules were a bit odd.
not sure of the link, but i think if you do a search it would come up pretty easily.

They are having a lot of teething troubles at the moment. They were taking provisional bookings for half term and Christmas, but now all of those people have had to rebook with other airlines as Flyblu wont be operating until next year at the earliest.
It was always made clear that making a reservation was never a guarantee that the flights were a definate, but there were still quite a few unhappy people who felt let down. The CEO of Flyblu (Aden) has visited both the DIS and DIBB to keep people upto date with Flyblu's progress.
The service they offer sounds promising, and when they get up and running Im sure it will be a popular route. I am hoping that they may branch out and fly from Stansted one day as well.
