Sorry to post this without spending days reading the lists, but I need to confirm reservations today. We are planning on taking the Magic cruise on 12/1. We have decided to go to Universal for Thursday and Friday prior to the cruise. I have read if we stay at the HRH we will be able to bypass the lines. Can anyone tell me if we stay at the HRH for only Thursday night, will we be able to use a key for both Thursday and Friday? Also any hints on getting the best rates for our stay. Our hope is to redeye it in Wednesday night and try to get checked in early at HRH and go straight to the parks in the am, we will arrive in orlando around 8am. Has anyone tried this. We won't need access to the room, simply a room key for id for bypassing lines.

Does this really work? Is it worth the extra money to stay at HRH to get this priviledge?

Thanks for your help,

Cathy

I'm not sure about FOTLbut I think you can use it both days if you show your key. I haven't been yet. Ask for the Entertainment rate when you book. You could save as much as $50 a room. Good luck and have a blast!

I booked the HRH for 12/2-3 and got the Ent. rate of $117 a night for a garden view, $129 for a pool view, but that's probably not up your alley.

You will be able to use the key both days. And if they are still offering the Universal express access I experienced in May,it's worth every penny.

Curious, what do you mean not up my alley? Should I look for a garden room vs. a pool room, what would be better, the prices seem fantastic and at that price I would stay both nights at the HRH.

We, too, are going to HRH Nov 29 (9:30 p.m.), 30, Dec 1 at the Entertainment rate of $117 before our WDW vacation and cruise in 12/6.

I booked now even though I'm waiting on the 2002 Entertainment books to come out sometime in September. You just show your Entertainment card on arrival.

Hopefully, they still have this rate for you!
