Hotel Suggestions Around Buffalo Airport?

We are planning on travelling from Toronto to Buffalo to catch a Southwest flight in early February (hopefully there is no snow storm!!). I am looking for suggestions on Buffalo Airport area hotels, the good, the bad, the ugly etc. Also, anyone with experience in leaving their car at the hotel - is it safe? does it cost extra?

Sleep Inn and Comfort Suites are nearby, have shuttle service and are decent. I think they both let you keep your car there.
