Well, I feel pretty silly. What are airline vouchers? Do you have to have a certain type of ticket to get vouchers? What do you do to get the vouchers? etc, etc....

there are different types of voucher. some could be for specific dollar amounts and some could be for a free round trip. these are given in the event of a fare reduction or something to do with customer service etc.
you get these when your fare goes down or if you have an interrurption of svc on your flight, such as a cancelled flight, delayed flight or a misconnect in planes and it could even be due to bad customer svc.
