Did you look in the hardware section? That is where we found ours. You might also try on-line. Good luck finding one, I really like mine!:)

loonertic---just so you know, you want to get those ponchos at the dollar tree store when they first come out (spring)....that's when i got mine, but i just went back because i wanted two more, and they were sold out! if you know you are hitting disney, get those as soon as they come out....everyone scarfs them up!!! ;)
ps-it's not aug. 9th yet...that's my birthday and i'm not having any more of those!!!

loonertic and bubba's mom: I found the ponchos in june at dollartree, and walmart has them year-round in their camping section--only a little more expensive than dollartree.

no real NEED for more (this year), but if i happened upon some, a couple of extra wouldn't hurt....actually going to walmart later today...it's on my list (to check for anyway!)
hard to pay more when i already paid $1 for 2.....it can wait till next year if i don't see anymore.....but, thanks...will check it out!!

I had to check 3 targets, the sports authority, modells sporting goods, 2 echards, one CVS and i don't know how many super supermarkets before i found the jem i so desired.... it wasn't in the first walmart i checked, but the second (ten miles away) that i found my prize. I basically said if they weren't there i was gonna just rush order it online because once i told my girlfriend about them we couldn't not have them for our trip. Thanks for all the input....

ps - got the ponchos there too - .89$ each, Brita water bottles... 6.49$ each.

I just found the Brita Bottles today at Linen's & Things, in the clearance area in (houseware's)for $3.49 each! They were marked $5.99 but rang up at the lower price at checkout, even had some cute soccer pattern ones.

Can't wait to try them, thanks Disboarder's for the tip.

I had trouble finding them in our area, so I ordered two online from the brita website, plus filters.

i dont mean to sound stupid, but what exactly are the brita bottles. do you refill them all week at the parks?????

They are water bottles with filters, from what I hear they can make WDW's tap water taste like bottled water. I would guess they hold about 16-20 oz's, the typical water bottle size.

I know that the Crystal Light packets have been hard to find too, I saw these at Mancino's Pizza (I think it's a large chain), don't remember the exact price but they seemed expensive to me.

Dopey's twin Dippy ,

Don't feel bad... I was thinking the same thing. Do the bottles keep the water cooler than a normal water bottles..??

I'll have to check one out the next time I go to Walmart...

I just checked the Brita site for the sports bottle filters and they are all out. The only thing they had was the sports bottle which comes with one filter, but not the bottle with the extra filters or the filters alone. Now I will have to go and find the filters for my bottles here. Sure hope they have some.

ok, so I took advise from the boards and bought a brita bottle and extra filters. How often do you have to change the filter?

there should be a booklet in with the bottle......i think it says to change it every 2-3 months depending on taste. ours says:
heavy use: 8 weeks, regular use: 10 weeks or occassional use: 12 weeks. if you plan to use it every hour or so for a week, i'd change them after you returned home.....or if you start to notice a bad taste. we used ours at MK and let me tell you....they made a world of difference in the taste of that water!!!!

I just came back and used my new Brita for the first time. What a difference. We bought one of those straps at MK and that worked great too. I bought our Brita at a chain in Seattle called Bartells. Thanks for the tip.

I also found them at Bed Bath and Beyond for about $7 (though I didn't buy them there...I was lucky enough to find them at KMart on clearance).

What kind of strap do you use on your Brita water bottles? Can you use regular lanyards and if so how do you attach them? I don't have a lanyard yet to experiment with.

FYI: I found the Brita sports bottles on Clearance at Kroger for about $5.00 each here in Georgia. I'm not sure that is a great price so I am still looking for a better deal on them. I can return the Kroger ones. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help!

$5 is not that bad. I use the bottle straps that they sell at the drink stands to hold my Brita. They have an adjustable loop on the end which fits perefectly around the Brita plus they are coordinated to the parks. Epcot has flags on it MGM has movie mickey stuff and MK hascharacters so theyare cool.
