Hotel w/Kitchen near Universal...

Just one more hotel question....

I am looking for a hotel near Universal that has a kitchen or kitchenette in it. Doesn't have to be fancy by any means. I am looking for something very reasonably priced. We are planning on going in March 05. I am looking to try to go ahead and find something with a great rate now. If I book now and a cheaper rate comes out, can I call and get the adjustment on my ressies? We have never been to Universal, only to WDW and I know I have made many changes to my ressies over there.

Any help would be great!!

Residence Inn's are a good place to check!!

For great rates try Hotel Kingdom (http://www.hotelkingdom.com) closer to your dates. On the home page you'll click "Orlando" then it will take you to a page for dates. Then the list of hotels/suites will come up and under each resort name it will tell you if the resort is close to Disney or Universal.

Check out the Sierra Suites. If you go to its website, it has very reasonable rates. I'm considering this property for a December stay. :D

There's a Homestead Suites fairly close to Universal on John Young Parkway.

We are staying at Homewood Suites at Maingate, but there are several in the area. We are staying for 7 nights, and have a WONDERFUL price of $400!!! Yes, most certainly book now, and if cheaper rates come out, call and have your booking reflect the new rate. Good luck on your trip next year!

The Holiday Inn Universal is right across the street from US/IOA and had one and two bedroom suites. In June, I got a rate of $80 for a 2 bedroom with the entertainment card. These ent. card rates fill quickly so book early. You can book this directly on-line with Holiday Inn. www.hiuniversal.com (the suites have kitchens, of course!)
