Sheraton Vistana Resort

Has anyone ever stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Resort before or know anything about it? We're planning an early December trip with my parents, six of us. We were thinking of staying at POFQ but then I saw this place and it looked really nice. Does anyone know how far it is from Disney? Is it clean and worth it or should I just stick with POFQ?

I own a 2 bedroom unit at Vistana, so I will be biased and tell you that I really like it there. Tons of pools, and different activities to do all week. They are located 1 1/2 miles from DW - real easy drive....right out of resort (onto US 535), then 1st right at light for US 536, then straight onto DW property. This is located down US 535 from the Crossroads area.

Were you planning on just getting 1 unit, or 2? The main plus for Vistana is the kitchen, and the added room....however---If I were given the choice of staying at Vistana versus onsite--I would always choose onsite...there just isn't any comparison between the 2 in my eyes.

We LOVE the Vistana. Some people on these boards have bad things to say about the place, and I will agree there are some slightly more run down units, but, we have stayed in 3 different sections of the resort, from the oldest to the newest, and each time was incredible.
Vistana is close to all the attractions, closest to WDW. Very easy to get there. Also close to stores and restaraunts in the area. The property is HUGE and has amazing amenities. The pools are all great, the restaraunts are very good, and the grounds are beautifully kept. It is very much worth it.
